PRESS RELEASE

It is with deep sorrow and a profound sense of loss that we announce the passing of Baroness Atinuke Elizabeth Keshington Davies, the esteemed United Kingdom Director of the Nigeria Diaspora Think Tank (NDTT), who peacefully transitioned on Friday in the United Kingdom.

Baroness Keshington Davies was more than a voice in the diaspora—she was a patriot, a tireless advocate for national development, and a formidable pillar in the NDTT, the largest and most influential diaspora-based Nigerian policy platform, with over 2,000 members across the globe.

Globally respected for its intellectual strength and people-driven initiatives, NDTT played a significant role during the 2023 general elections by mobilizing strategic diaspora support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu under the Renewed Hope Agenda.

Baroness Davies was a woman of grace, vision, and purpose. Through her leadership in the UK, she contributed immensely to NDTT’s mission, consistently representing the organisation in key engagements, policy discussions, and global forums. Her legacy of service and integrity will continue to inspire generations within and beyond the diaspora.

As we await further details from her family, we extend our deepest condolences to her loved ones, friends, and the entire NDTT and Renewed Hope community.

May her noble soul find eternal rest, and may her remarkable legacy continue to light the path for others.
