CLUB 17 PEACE INITIATIVE BOARD OF TRUSTEES & MANAGEMENT TEAM URGE ABIANS, NDIGBO TO RALLY BEHIND DEPUTY SPEAKER BENJAMIN KALU AND PRESIDENT BOLA TINUBU
Following a series of high-level strategy sessions and consultative engagements, the Board of Trustees and Management Team of the Club 17 Peace Initiative have jointly called on all Abians and Ndigbo to support the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu, CON, and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in their ongoing efforts to deliver on the promises of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
Speaking on behalf of the Board of Trustees, High Chief Sir Akoh Obioma, Chairman of the Board, urged the Southeast to align with the national direction and actively support the developmental vision championed by President Tinubu. He emphasized that Ndigbo will soon begin to experience the benefits of engaging constructively with the current administration, especially through leaders like Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu, whose dedication to peace and progress has been instrumental.
High Chief Obioma also commended the Deputy Speaker for his consistent support of the Club 17 Peace Initiative, assuring him that the organization remains steadfast in its mission and will continue to uphold the values he represents.
In a separate address, the Chairman of the Club 17 Peace Initiative, Prince Engineer George Nnana Kalu, encouraged members of the management team to remain diligent and committed to the vision of the group. He assured them that their contributions would not go unrewarded. Prince Kalu also thanked the Board of Trustees for hosting the management team, highlighting their role in strengthening the foundation of the club’s work.
The meeting reaffirmed the Club’s resolve to work collaboratively with both local and national leaders to foster peace, unity, and sustainable development in the Southeast and beyond.
