A growing coalition of respected voices under the banner of the Concerned Citizens of Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency has made a clarion call to Hon. Ikenna Nicholas Ukwa to join the 2027 race for the Federal House of Representatives.

Their call, which has been echoed across towns and villages from Arochukwu/ Ohafia Federal Constituency is born out of what they describe as “an urgent need for quality representation, credible leadership, and developmental rescue” for the constituency.

A Constituency in Search of True Representation

Over the years, the people of Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency have endured the painful consequences of weak representation, abandoned projects, poor infrastructure, youth unemployment, and the absence of effective legislative advocacy.

The Concerned Citizens argue that the constituency’s voice in Abuja has been too faint, and their constituency’s needs often ignored. They insist that the time has come for a paradigm shift , a time to send a capable, articulate, and trusted representative who will not just occupy a seat, but use it to transform lives.

According to the group’s statement:

“Our people deserve a representative who will fight for federal projects, defend our interests, and restore our pride. We are convinced that Hon. Ikenna Nicholas Ukwa is the right man for this assignment.”
