Despite my beauty, I am still unmarried – actress Adunni Ade shares her ugly story

Beautiful Nigerian actress and filmmaker, Adunni Ade has shared her unpleasant life story, her struggle and disappointment.
According to the Vanguard Newspaper, actress Adunni Ade decried her single-hood; a jinx which she said her beauty was unable to break for her.
The actress stated that despite her undeniable beauty that she has remained unmarried. According to her, beauty is not enough to earn a woman marriage. She testified that though her beauty has paved way for her; earning her favour, regards and respect, value and admiration but that marriage requires more than mere beauty.
She enjoined women not to concentrate on making themselves beautiful as a means of finding true love because her life proves that beauty is truly not enough for a successful marriage.
She explained that while she has been admired by men who genuinely were interested in her but that beauty alone could not keep them.
“Some came for the face, not the soul. Some wanted the shine, not the substance,” she said.
“I learned the hard way that a woman must be more than just beautiful”, she said.
She advises women not to just focus on building their beauty but to build their worth, character, mind, and self-determination.
“Build your mind, know your worth, have values, be whole on your own. Marriage will come when it is right, but don’t think beauty is all you need.”
“Life demands more than looks. Work on yourself, grow, be the kind of woman that doesn’t just turn heads, because in the end, beauty fades, but character stays.”
Though there is no public information about her love life but the 38 year old American-Nigerian actress currently has two male children whose father’s is unknown to the public.
