Fashola Hails Tinubu, Says Opposition Now Realising the Genius Behind APC’s Historic Coalition

Former Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN), has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for masterminding the most successful political coalition in Nigeria’s history, the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Speaking at the Lagos APC Stakeholders’ Forum on Tuesday, where party members unanimously endorsed President Tinubu for re-election, Fashola said opposition parties are now discovering just how difficult it is to replicate what the APC achieved under Tinubu’s leadership.

“This meeting comes at a time when those who once stood against our emergence are now attempting to form a coalition,” Fashola said.

“They are beginning to understand how complex and demanding it was to build the merger that produced the APC. History will record that it remains the only successful political merger in Nigeria’s democratic experience, they said it was impossible, but it happened.”

Fashola praised President Tinubu for his vision, political courage, and strategic brilliance, which not only united diverse political tendencies but also birthed a governing party that continues to shape Nigeria’s democratic evolution.
