Known for his doggedness, sagacity and splendiferous contribution on issues of National Importance, The member representing Aba North And South Federal Constituency Hon. Mascot Alex Ikwechegh (Onye Ocha Na Aba) during plenary condemned constructively and brilliantly, the recent SAMOA agreement signed by the Government.
Hon. Ikwechegh, while constructively condemning the agreement, pinpointed the inadequacies and catastrophic implications of such an agreement on our Nations heritage and cultural setting, adding that the agreement purportedly promotes LGBT rights which are not just against the extant laws in the country, but also, antithetical to our collective heritage and history as a people.
He deeply emphasized that the welfare of the people should take centre stage and further demanded that concrete actions be expedited, towards tackling insecurity, hunger, Unemployment and poverty, which do not only ignites frustration-aggression, but equally poses a serious threat to our national security.
The people's Representative whose coruscating performance in less than a year has endeared him to the good people of Aba North And South, has continued to demonstrate his legislative prowess and dexterity on issues of national Importance at the green chamber.
Without ambiguity, I make bold to say that Hon. Mascot Alex Ikwechegh, Is The Real Deal.
