Unmasking the Deceit: PDP Slams Abia’s LP-Led Government Over Deceptive Propaganda as “Lying Party” Emerges~Abia PDP

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has exposed what it calls a deliberate campaign of falsehood by the Labour Party (LP)-led administration in Abia State, particularly regarding the status of the Government House in Umuahia.

Contrary to Governor Alex Otti’s widely publicized claim that the Government House was left “unplastered” by his predecessor, the PDP has revealed that the complex was fully completed and furnished before the end of its tenure. The buildings, infrastructure, and furnishings were in place, ready for use. Yet, Governor Otti has chosen to govern from his private residence, peddling an excuse that no longer holds water.

“This is not governance,it’s propaganda,” a PDP spokesperson declared. “Otti is not running a government; he’s running a media show. And the truth is catching up with him.”

According to the PDP, the real reason Governor Otti has avoided using the Government House is not because it is unfit, but because his administration is built on a foundation of lies, lies designed to discredit the achievements of past administrations and mask his own lack of preparedness.

“This is a Governor who inherited a seat of power but prefers the comfort of his private home,” the PDP continued. “Why? Because the truth does not fit the narrative he sold to the people. But Abians deserve leadership, not excuses.”

As the facts emerge, the PDP is calling on the people of Abia to demand accountability and reject what it now brands the “Lying Party (LP)”, a government more committed to spin than service, and more focused on optics than outcomes.

According to the PDP, the lying Party LP -led administration has mastered the art of media manipulation, parading promises as achievements and turning photo-ops into policy.

This government governs by hashtags, not by hard work,” a PDP spokesperson said. “They’ve built nothing but illusions, and the people of Abia are waking up to the fraud.”

The PDP warned that no amount of digital spin can conceal the truth for long, especially when even the walls of power remain bare.
